As you may know, crew of the Apollo 11 used a few Hasselblad 500EI on the moon (with black and white and color slide films) and they left the camera on the surface. I would say, they were in a hurry and forgot it, but the truth is they brought back moon rock instead of the photographic equipment.
Astronaut in hurry forget to pack the camera 🙂
